Jingdezhen Art Vocational University is a full-time undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education. It is a private, non-profit vocational undergraduate university organized by the state-owned enterprise Jingdezhen Tao Wen Tourism Group and supervised by the Provincial Department of Education.

The school is located in Jingdezhen, a famous historical and cultural city in China, an excellent tourist city in China and the porcelain capital of the world. The new campus covers an area of more than 1,400 mu, with a construction area of about 900,000 square meters. The whole school is jointly designed by the China Architectural Design Institute and the Design Institute of Tsinghua University.
