    Problems in production of glass magnesium plate

    There are many problems in the production of glass magnesium plate at present, there are many problems in the production of glass magnesium plate all over the country, which are summarized as follows: the raw material control is seriously insufficient: many factories do not have complete chemical analysis room, and do not know the analysis methods of magnesium oxide (MgO) and magnesium chloride (MgCl2). As a result, the quality of products in production is completely determined by the stability of raw materials, so the quality of products produced is random, sometimes good or bad.


    One of the reasons for this is that the composition of magnesia in magnesite itself fluctuates greatly, even though each batch of products from the same manufacturer is different; the second reason is that the composition of the same batch of materials in the same plant fluctuates greatly due to the unreasonable combustion grinding process and no homogenization measures; the third is that the storage time of raw materials affects the content of active magnesium oxide.



    Unscientific batching: some factories have no scientific calculation and measurement method of batching, and the dosage is determined only by experience and slurry dry and thin. Dry add brine, dilute add filler. This is one of the main reasons for product instability and deformation.


    The precision of forming and cutting is not enough: now there are almost no factories for manual molding, but the accuracy of equipment and mold, and the quality of cutting machine affect the appearance of products, which makes the appearance quality deviation of some products too large.



    Nonstandard maintenance: the product maintenance after molding is an important link, which requires a complete time, temperature, humidity and method of initial and final maintenance. The products of many factories are deformed due to improper maintenance. The curing time should be carefully adjusted according to the temperature, and the plates less than the age can not be delivered, otherwise it will cause losses to users.



    Modification problem: at present, the modification of glass magnesium plate coagulant is divided into four aspects. First, adjust the setting time; second, improve the water resistance and moisture resistance of the products, that is, increase the softening coefficient; third, anti re bittern; fourth, foaming agent makes the product lighter and reduces the cost. Many small factories do not understand the principle of the modifier to be added, hearsay, what to add. However, the function of some modifiers was exaggerated. It should be said that all methods of anti backhalogenation have a certain range, which is difficult to overcome by modifier.



    Water content problem: glass magnesium plate is used in different areas, and the water content requirements are different. When the board with high moisture content is used in the dry area, the board shrinks seriously; when the board with low moisture content is used in the wet area, the board will expand seriously. Therefore, the production plant should control different water content according to different use area. There are few manufacturers that can do this now.



    Chloride content problem: due to the large number of chloride ions in glass magnesium plate, it is easy to have back halogen and corrosivity to metal. Many users, especially the export, require to control the content of chloride ion. Taiwan standard cns14164 magnesium oxide board also has special indicators. It is found that the higher the content of chloride ion in the same kind of plate is, the more serious the back brine is and the stronger the corrosivity is. However, the difference of chloride content in different kinds of plates (mainly fillers, light burned and colored materials) can not fully reflect their properties. For example, the board with light filler has high chloride ion content due to its small weight percentage, but it does not return halogen and absorb moisture.
